Throughout the show, Tim Taylor would often be wearing sweatshirts or T-shirts from various Michigan-based colleges and universities. These were usually sent by the schools to the show for him to wear during an episode. Because Allen considered Michigan his home state, the rule was that only Michigan schools would get the free advertising. There were two notable exceptions to the general rule that Tim only supported Michigan educational institutions on the show. First, during the episode "Workshop 'Til You Drop" Tim wears a Wofford College sweatshirt. Second, during the episode "The Wood, the Bad and the Hungry" Tim wears an Owens Community College sweatshirt.
The average single-family homeowner spends around $2,000 a year on maintenance, according to Bankrate.com. That is considerably less than the monthly fees for most condos or co-ops. But even though the monthly outlay for those homeowners might be lower than that of condo or co-op owners, house owners generally are not squirreling away those savings for a rainy day. Nearly half of them have less than $1,000 saved, and a third have nothing saved, according to Liberty Mutual Insurance. So when that sump pump suddenly fails, odds are, we’re scrambling to pay the plumber for a new one.
Two-part filler has to be mixed and it doesn’t rinse off with water, so it’s not as user friendly as other fillers. However, it’s much tougher and a much better choice for any hole bigger than a nail head, especially outdoors. And it’s not just for wood?you can patch metal, fiberglass?even concrete. Here’s another option for wood filler. Buy some wood filler on Amazon now.

We found our guy! We called Breiter based on a next door referral. Patti contacted me a set a time for Phillip to come. He came and looked at our project and gave us a fair email quite a couple days later. We made an appointment. He came on time and did a great job. Better then our expectations Phillip also explained things to my wife in ways we can understand it We are currently putting together a list of projects we need done and are hoping he will help us with them. I / we highly recommend this Aug 2018. Phillip did more work for us. Wow he does great work. Fast and cleans up and does what he says he will do and does it well. Thank you
When that happens, all you can do is pay up, as happened with Jason Hark and Kenneth Larivee. In 2016, the couple got hit with a $28,000 assessment to replace the siding on their West Orange, N.J. townhouse in a condo association. This cost came on top of their $610 monthly association fee. After speaking with siding companies, Mr. Hark estimated that if his unit had been a stand-alone property, the project would have cost closer to $7,500. “But we couldn’t fight it,” said Mr. Hark, a director at WCBS-TV.

"We’d previously hired a handyman to install our garbage disposal. It wasn’t done correctly and we found out we had a leak that was causing some structural problems. I wanted it fixed ASAP so we could dry out the damage and make a plan before the weight of my quartz countertops completely ruined the under-cabinets. He responded quickly and came out immediately afterward and charged exactly what he said he would even though he had to go buy a part after looking at it. I don’t want to NEED him again but I will definitely use him again if I have plumbing issues."
Home Improvement was one of the last great family shows. While it was laugh out loud funny, it also manages to touch your heart frequently. The production value of season 1 may not have been quite as high as successive seasons, but it detracts little, if any from this family classic. For those looking for quality clean entertainment for raising your family on today, I highly recommend Home Improvement as an option that will span the generations. Start with season 1, and get your family hooked from the beginning!

I grew up watching this show as a kid and it quickly became one of my all time favorites. Tim Allen is a brilliant actor and really brought out his true comedic nature in this show. A few years after the show had ended I began seeing reruns playing on TV and it sparked my interest in the show again, but I was unable to watch every episode and sometimes missed half a season. I decided to buy every season.

Some jobs may seem simple enough -- turning your attic into an office or a spare bedroom, a larger picture window in your living room -- but often require quite a bit more knowledge. If your project is going to cost over $500 a day and take more than a day or two, you might want to hire a contractor. These projects are usually fairly big. They will also be more likely to require permits and inspections, and will often require a crew of workers to accomplish.
